The Pick 'n Pay Taste of Durban takes place at Suncoast Casino from 26 to 28 July 2013. Nine of Durban's finest restaurants will fashion special menus of starter sized dishes for the occasion, including signature dishes created by featured chefs designed to reflect their philosophy and showcase seasonal and premium ingredients in an unbeatable alfresco gourmet setting.
Enjoy a feast for the senses with top chefs demonstrating live in the Pick n Pay Chef's Theatre or learn how to create and pair simple, stylish and utterly delicious canapés with a wide range fine wine to complement the balance of flavours in the Pick n Pay Wine and Canapé Experience.
Hartford's very own Chef Jackie Cameron will be holding cooking demonstrations in the Chef's Theatre on Saturday at 14h00 and on Sunday at 12h30. On Saturday Jackie will be cooking with sustainable fish, SASSI, and on Sunday she'll be cooking recipes from her recently launched recipe book : "JACKIE CAMERON COOKS AT HOME". Jackie wil be showcasing her female chef jacket range and will be available to sign copies of her book. Books will be available to purchase at the show for R250.
