The January edition of Getaway Magazine featured three of South Africa’s top chefs sharing their travel wish list; both local and international. It turns out America is high on the agenda and very specific restaurants steer the compass for these culinary pros.
We were so humbled, and of course delighted, when chef extraordinaire Chantel Dartnall from Restaurant Mosaic at the Orient in Pretoria, shared with the Getaway Magazine that her travel wish list included exploring local KwaZulu-Natal restaurants. On Chantel's list of must visits is Hartford House. A true honour from such an esteemed chef.

Crowned the 2014 San Pellegrino Chef of the Year with Mosaic being voted fourth top restaurant in South Africa at the prestigious Eat Out awards, Chantel reigns supreme in the culinary world. Inspired by her travels and showcasing a strong botanical theme, her menu reads like a playful, floral ode to the senses.
