We thought we would ask our brides and grooms to share some of their special moments with us.
This is what Catherine & Dylan told us...
Where did you two meet?
Dylan - We met at a dinner party a few years ago. I notices Cat as soon as I arrived and knew I had to meet her. We sat next to each other at dinner and spent the whole evening talking. At the end of the evening she wouldn't give me her number, all I got was her BBM pin! But we went on our first date the very next day.
How did the proposal go down?
Cat - We were on holiday in Paris and Dylan had booked dinner at the restaurant Le Jules Verne at the top of the Eiffel Tower. I though it was just a special date, little did I know Dylan had been planning the evening with the restaurant for months! After our main course we took the private lift to the top of the tower and looked out over Paris at night. With the twinkling tower lights and the view to ourselves it couldn't have been more romantic. As we got back to our table Dylan got down on one knee, opened up a beautiful black velvet box and asked me to marry him. Inside the box was a gleaming diamond ring from Tiffany's. It came as a complete surprise and of course I said yes! The staff and other diners in the restaurant clapped and cheered for us. We celebrated with Champagne and exquisite French petit desserts.
Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
Dylan - Our wedding was an incredible experience. Having all our friends and family from around the world in one place at the same time was truly special. But the best moment was when Cat walked down the aisle. She looked beautiful and time just froze. The full significance of what we were doing dawned on me and I couldn't have felt happier.
Describe in one sentence your wedding day?
Cat - It was an amazing day filled with happiness, laughter, love, close friends and family and topped off with magnificent scenery and sublime food!
What advice do you have for future brides?
Relax! It is so important to enjoy every moment of your day because it goes by so fast. Remember, things don't always go as planned - trust in your planner and your girls and it will all work out in the end.
