- Quad bikes and scramblers are not permitted on the estate.
- Motorbikes are allowed upon arrival at the Hotel but are note allowed on the estate.
- Toy planes and/or Drones are note permitted without prior approval from Management.
- Guests are not permitted to enter horse paddocks nor feed horses without permission from Management.
Off peak rates are valid from Sundays to Thursdays. Peak rates apply on Weekends, Public Holidays, and School Holidays. Our rates are based per room – Maximum 2 Persons. Breakfast Included.
*The Family Suite Rate is based on 2 Adults and 2 Children of any age.
Use of the swimming pool is for resident guests only. Restaurant guests are not permitted to bring own catering and beverages without management approval. Corkage and surcharges will be raised if approval has been given.
50% deposit is required within 24 hours of making the booking. Your reservation will not be confirmed until this deposit is received. Once received the reservation will be changed from provisional to confirmed. Balance of payment is due at least 7 days prior to arrival.
– Non arrival: No refund
– Less than 1 week notice: No refund
– 1 to 2 weeks’ notice: 25% refund of total booking amount
– 2 to 4 weeks’ notice: 50% refund of total booking amount
– 4 or more weeks’ notice: Full refund of total booking amount
Subject to availability and all other conditions applicable to cancellations and deposits.
All Children are welcome at Hartford House.
- Children between the ages of 0-3 years old can be accommodated in all rooms using cots provided for you.
- For children between the ages of 7-11, certain rooms have extra bedding available to accommodate them. However, please note that a surcharge applies for children in this age group.
- Children over the age of 12 years old will be charged as adults and will require their own room, unless you are staying in the Family Suite (17 Igugu).
- Babysitting services are available on request and charged hourly.
Please note that the availability of cots and extra bedding is subject to availability and should be requested in advance to ensure proper arrangements can be made for your child’s stay at Hartford House.
Room 17 Igugu – Family Suite
Can accommodate 4 guests in total, children of all ages welcome. We can add a cot or an extra toddler bed in the main bedroom to accommodate an extra child should this be required.
Heritage Suites
Can accommodate two adults and one child, cots & toddler beds available on request, all ages welcome.
Veranda Suites
Can accommodate two adults and one infant, we can put a cot in this room only.
Garden & Pool Suites
Can accommodate two adults and one infant, we can accommodate a cot in this room only.
Lakeside suites
15 Siyabonga
Two ottomans available for kids between ages 4 -11, we can accommodate 2 adults and a maximum of two children
14 Inkanyezi
Two ottoman’s available for kids between ages 4 -11, we can accommodate 2 adults and a maximum of two children.
13 Mbulelo
Can accommodate two adults and one infant, cot available on request only.
Babysitting services are available. You and your partner may have the night off and enjoy a romantic dinner in our restaurant whilst one of the Hartford Team babysit the kids. You can dine in the knowledge that an experienced “mom” is with your child and they are not far away should you wish to pop in and check. Chef Keegan Locke and his team will draw up a healthy dinner option to be delivered as to your children at a convenient time. We can also offer room service to children at 6pm, provide a babysitter or child minder to allow parents to enjoy a romantic dinner on their own.
